Thank you for your interest in Nannies As Needed. We are the most reputable and well respected "as needed" babysitting service in Fairfield and New Haven counties. We have been in business since 2003, and have met the childcare needs of over 1,700 families. Throughout the years we have employed 500+ sitters, and have kept them very busy with over 40,000 sitting placements.

Nannies As Needed employs only the most highly qualified and experienced babysitters. We look for sitters who truly have a passion for childcare, and believe that nurturing children is one of the most important jobs in the world. Our sitters do more than just babysit, they educate, they engage, and they encourage the children they sit for. Because of this, we have some of the most satisfied and grateful clients in Connecticut.

Most of our staff is comprised of local college students (male and female) who are willing to work hard and truly appreciate their assignments. We also have mature sitters who have already raised a family of their own and look forward to the opportunity to take care of children again. Our sitters will keep your children happy, busy and safe. Many are CPR and First Aid certified. All of our sitters are bonded, thoroughly screened, references scrutinized, and child care recommendations verified. We personally interview each and every potential sitter and only the very best are invited to join our staff.

We pride ourselves in our ability to match your individual needs with the perfect sitter. We take the time to truly get to know each of our sitters, and each of the families that we serve. Childcare is our passion and because of this we handpick each sitter placement, taking into consideration the unique needs of your family.
